Frequently Asked Questions FAQ

Common questions about CaseOrbit AI — pricing, security, integrations, and more.

Getting Started

What is CaseOrbit AI?

CaseOrbit AI is an intelligent legal case management platform that combines AI-powered automation with robust matter management, deadline tracking, document handling, e-signatures, billing, and a real-time client portal — all in one integrated system.

How do I get started?

Simply register for a free 30-day trial — no credit card required. Onboarding takes less than 15 minutes and our team is available to provide a personalized walkthrough at any time.

Can I import my existing cases?

Yes. CaseOrbit supports CSV/Excel bulk import and has native integrations with Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, and Filevine. Our migration team will assist with data transfer at no additional cost.

Security & Privacy

How is my data secured?

All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We use Azure Key Vault for secret management, role-based access control, and maintain complete audit logs. We are SOC 2 Type II certified and fully HIPAA-ready.

Is attorney-client privilege protected?

Absolutely. CaseOrbit is designed with privilege protection as a core architectural principle. Each firm's data is completely isolated, access is strictly controlled by role, and our AI models do not train on client data.

Where is my data stored?

Data is stored in Microsoft Azure data centers within the continental United States by default. EU and UK data residency options are available for international clients.

Pricing & Plans

How much does CaseOrbit AI cost?

We offer three plans: Starter ($49/user/month), Professional ($99/user/month), and Enterprise (custom pricing). Annual billing saves 20%. Contact sales for a custom quote.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — all plans include a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you choose a plan or your account converts to a limited free tier.

Features & Integrations

What is the "Case Tracker" feature?

The Case Tracker is a real-time visual progress indicator — similar to a pizza delivery tracker — that shows clients and attorneys exactly what stage a matter is in. It updates live via Server-Sent Events as your team progresses through each milestone.

Does CaseOrbit integrate with court e-filing systems?

Yes. CaseOrbit integrates with Tyler Technologies (federal courts), Odyssey (state courts), and PACER. Deadlines are automatically populated from filed documents and court calendars.
